QUBIC: New SPIFF STAR 2008 scent-based clothing. (womens)
   
It seems like Christmas is ever perpetual here at qubicstore. The season also sees the first drop of a brand new label - 'SPIFF', designed by NY-based Japanese model Mayuko Asano. Debuting in June this year, Spiff has seen the shelves of Union, Charlotte Ronson and the immense Swagger Flagship store in Harajuku, Tokyo. This is her first collection, and before you shrug yourselves off, there is one major difference to SPIFF - it's scent based clothing.
Yes, all the clothes have a particular scent infused with it, from jelly beans, bubble gum, to gardenia. In her own words, everybody thought she was a little crazy when she first mentioned the idea, but here it is. And no joke, it does smell like what it says. I have to say, I've seen a lot of things, but this is definately a first for me. Definately worth checking out.
