Story of the Summer L, Jeremy Lin has reportedly signed with the Golden State Warriors. What does this mean for the L? Who knows; but what can be sure is that every Asian "Baller" (I hate that term) is cheering to some degree. Hope reigns down on every kid out there from Taiwan to the rest of Asia.No doubt there will be huge spike in demand for Lin jerseys. Just goes to show that playing solid ball can get you somewhere. No longer will Asian ball players attempt 3 cross overs and numerous shake and bakes to break an opponent, only to fade away for an air ball tray.

The Story is HERE. The story is now.

This kid can ball. Full stop. Game time in GSW is a huge possibility; possible first string back up with Curry and Ellis taking the 1 and 2 with only Bell and Watson the only two other guards. Lets see how it pans out, but I'm thinking 8 points 6 dimes a couple of boards, a tray and a steal. Let's hope he outperforms this and silences all who turned down him a Division 1 Offer. Besides, if it doesn't work out, guess he can always go back to being a lawyer

Game on Jeremy Lin has given hope to us all

It looks like Krispy Kreme may be set to finally set up shop in our little nation. No more asking people to bring back a 12 pack of glazed donuts on their way back from Australia. No more substituting crappy Dunkin Donuts to satisfy the void that only a Krispy Kreme can fill. What better time is there to become a franchise owner, huh  ;) ?

Before there was Thabeet and other stretch foreigners, there was Bol. The true blocking machine (No disrespect Dikembe). A game changer on the defense end, we will all remember him for this passage of play.

I remember asking Chris the other day if Bol was still around, as I had thought he had passed on in a car accident, previously. I was relieved to see that he was still breathing, although not protecting the paint as we had all hoped. His passing will especially be felt by those who directly and indirectly benefited from Bol's dedicated humanitarian efforts in Africa.

Bol played in the NBA with Washington, Golden State, Philadelphia and Miami, averaging 2.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.3 blocks for his career. He led the league in blocks in 1985-86 with Washington (5.0 per game) and in 1988-89 with Golden State (4.3 a game).

With the 2010 NBA Playoffs in full swing, it is hard to take a breath and analyze what the hell is actually going on in the L. I could sit here all day and go on about the happenings on and off the hardwood floor; from the Celtics grinding to a halt in the second round (just watch it happen) to the Spurs locking down the Mavericks and making Cuban eat his words, all the way to just what will actually happen this free agent frenzy off season (Bron Bron stays / Bosh ships out and Wade's position is contingent if they can sign him a 4 or 5). The post would be enough to eclipse any other blog post in existence... or ice age. But to guess to surmise the trials and tribulations of this 2010 postseason, one can only look to what actually happens at this end of the year; the business end. The Second half of the season. Where the true stars come out and grace the hardwood. Where one mistake can send your team to glory, or to the depths of an early round exit (Case in point: Divac slapping (instead of rebounding) the ball on a missed three, out to a Wide open Horry... only to see the ball splash through the net, and cement Horry's status as one of the most clutch 4's to sit on the perimeter, where the little people play. Bye bye kings.)

This end of the season can only be described as the players stepping up. Plain and Simple.
