WTF INDEED! My fam at Sneaker Freaker got that right. God damn this shoe is horrible!!!!! Jeremy Scott is someone who I have respect for but what he has done with his range of Adidas collaborations so far has done absolutely nothing for me minus 2 pairs! The last two whole ranges have fell terribly short for me, god help me if I ever see someone actually wearing these on the street. Anyways enough of that here is the info folks.
Issue 19 of the world’s greatest boogazine is finally on the loose and ready for pre-orders.As usual it’s packing a mighty punch – over 128 pages of never-seen-before sneakers and one of our raddest mega-features ever – the complete history of VISION STREET WEAR!
With the help of ex-Vision staff from back in the 80s, we’ve produced the ultimate look at the most mental and influential skate brand. There’s over 18 pages of interviews and all Vision’s greatest hits are in full effect – the giant logo tees, ollie pads, Gator Rogowski, Mark Gonzales, vintage VSW sneakers such as the DV8 and DV9 models and the classic Psycho Stick as immortalised by INXS. It’s also a celebration of Vision’s unique graphic style that still snaps necks 25 years later…
And it's the first time in SNKRFKR history that we've put an adidas on the cover, and what a corker we chose. These Jeremy Scott ObyO Teddy Bears are sure to divide sneaker heads opinions, but love them or hate them, they surely hit a soft spot with us! Check out full details of what you can expect below and get your pre-order on here or cop all six covers (yes, SIX!) here.
PRE-ORDER BONUS
Pre-order now from Sneaker Freaker and you’ll also get a free set of stickers and a gigantic ‘Psycho Stick’ fluoro poster! (see attached poster image)
Congratulations to Tyler Rawka for his big win in the first ever Sekure D sneaker giveaway. I have announced this a day late mainly because I have been so twisted over which way to go. It was SOO close but Tyler just got over the line with “Id absorb Quantonium turning me into Ginormica and ride insectosaurus to war, while playing the theme song to Beverly Hills Cop”. Classic man, the Beverly Hills Cop reference was probably the clincher in an extremely close competition. A very special mention must go to:
Paul Atkinson
Mysha Oveson
Steve Nguyễn
Greg Emslie
& Chase Jepson
I want to thank everyone who participated, it’s great to have people contribute their time towards the competition and it makes me want to have another one soon. Please don’t be bummed if you didn’t win, I appreciate everyone being a part of the Sekure D group and will reward more creativity soon!
A brand new custom and my first for a very long time on a NB. This was a refreshing change and I can't say enough about the quality of the materials on this model, they were superb.
